First Uni project

These are stills from a film project I worked on with fellow fashion students. Our given theme was the Pop art movement, from this we created a fashion film inspired by the Artist Andy Warhol. Concentrating on the theme of repetition present within his work and the era in which his work made him as well known as he is today.

 Model - Sarah Hickle

Our styling for our character, clearly very 60's, Edie Sedgwick.

Beth and myself filming.

Day 9

Girly much?

Teamed with large loose blue cardigan, my favourite colour at the moment. The peacock clip in my hair is a Primark find, I love the colours within the feathers, especially against the red of my hair.

Topshop necklace, with added chain that was my Grans.

And plain black flats.

Day 8

Bit of a casual day again.

My Les Mis t shirt layered over dress, tied at the side and rolled up laces sleeves of dress to create three quarter sleeve.

Teamed with aqua flat shoes, simple.

Day 7

So I've started to realise my my choice of styling is rather girly. At the beginning of my Fash course we were lined up facing someone we didn't know and asked to describe their fashion style, I was labelled 'girly' which at the time I felt was pretty far off, but thinking about it now its pretty spot on. Not sure whether this is a good thing or not. Anyway to today's attire.

Today I've teamed my dress with a cropped floral top, which was originally a dress I cut at the waist as I didn't like it so much as a dress. I like the way the floral looks against the lace sleeves of my dress.

The vintage floral headscarf I think works well against the red of my hair, and goes with the colours in the floral top.

Red heels to finish the look.

Day 6

Black dress warn with striped shirt layered over top, this is actually a bed shirt, which I've never worn to bed, good old Primark.

All in all, think this is rather a dull day look.

Accompanied with strings of pearls around the neck and a thing brown belt to define the waist.

Teal coloured wedges which I've dragged from the bottom of my cupboard, I never wear these, yet at the time of buying them thought they'd be a versatile pair. hmmm.

Day 5

So today decided on a casual look, a comfy day if you will

Teamed my black dress with an oversized vintage cardigan, a new investment in my wardrobe, an instant favourite.

A simple floral scarf wrapped around the head and tied in a bow to the side disguises my unwashed locks for today.

This necklace I bought from Camden market years back, despite it now falling to pieces its still a favourite of mine.

Snazzy shoes. I do indeed love my shoes, these were a £2 bargain from Primark a while back. They can brighten up a dull outfit easily.

Day 4.

Today I decided to wear a high waisted skirt over my dress, giving different aesthetics yet again. I rarely wear this skirt, but like the combination of the lace and print together. Worn with grey tights and beige heels that are infact my year 11 prom shoes, sentimental value.

Warn with cheap pink beads, despite them clashing with my red hair, nothing can be perfect.
